Hi, I'm Gabriela. I didn't always plan on running a nanny agency. I actually started out in medical school back home in Buenos Aires, but life has a funny way of shifting your perspective. I realized my real passion was not in a clinic; it was the rewarding experience of being active and outdoors with kids—watching them grow and providing the dedicated, personal support their parents rely on.

When I moved to the U.S. and started nannying in Aspen, what began as "just a job" became my life's work. I spent years traveling with families, becoming a trusted fixture in their kids' lives. As demand grew, I founded Snowmass Nannies to connect families with truly exceptional care, and now, I’m bringing that same personal approach to this little island I love so much.

I don't just source candidates; I personally vet every nanny to make sure they share the exact standards I held myself to for years. That means having the intuition to know when a child needs a quiet story in the shade or a beach adventure, the discretion and reliability parents demand, and the genuine kindness that kids remember forever.

When I’m not matching nannies with families, I’m usually writing. My blog, The Art of Care, and my columns in the Aspen Times are where I process the quiet, meaningful moments that happen during a day of caregiving. Whether you are spending a week in a private villa, staying at a resort, or returning to the island for the winter season, my goal is simple: to give you complete peace of mind knowing your children are safe, happy, and having just as much fun on the island as you are.

Thank you for getting to know a little about me. I would love to connect and support your family during your stay in Saint Barthélemy!

What matters most with children is not avoiding the tough moments but guiding them through. With patience, connection, and a little choice, even a cold, stubborn pause at the top of a hike can turn into a chance to grow..

Beyond the beige: a nanny’s guide to peaceful mealtimes

As a nanny, I know firsthand that the kitchen table can sometimes feel like a battlefield of negotiations and hidden veggies. I poured my heart into this piece, sharing my absolute favorite ways to turn mealtime stress into a fun, peaceful bonding experience for both kids and caregivers.

Be and accomplice

Childcare is often described as supervision, structure, and safety. And while those things matter deeply, they are not the whole story. The moments that shape children most often happen inside laughter, play, and shared problem solving. This is a story about stepping into a child’s world, building trust through connection, and sometimes choosing to be an accomplice.
